<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with <a href="http://www.woot.com/">woot.com</a>, the image above is an example of the ridiculous bargains that are available on the site. They offer one product per day, in limited quantity, with sales beginning at midnight. This morning I managed to get in on the deal above. The drives are refurbished, and only have a 2 mB cache, but for under $0.21 per gB, I&#8217;ve purchased enough storage space to meet my backup needs for years to come. Not too shabby. Now to pick up a couple of cheap enclosures. Or do I experiment with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redundant_array_of_independent_disks"><acronym title="Redundant Array of Inexpensive/Independent Disks">RAID</acronym></a>?</p>
